Operations Director (Supply Chain / Sourcing)

This role is designed for a visionary operations leader who can architect and execute a global strategy across supply chain, sourcing, and production. Inspired by best-in-class operational leadership, the candidate will play a pivotal role in scaling the brand’s infrastructure, optimizing delivery performance, and accelerating speed-to-market—all while upholding the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and luxury.

Global Supply Chain & Logistics

• Oversee international logistics and distribution networks, ensuring seamless delivery across retail and e-commerce
• Implement cost-saving measures and enhance operational infrastructure to support growth
• Drive speed-to-market initiatives and customer satisfaction through agile logistics

Sourcing & Procurement Strategy

• Lead sourcing across Europe and Asia with a focus on ethical standards and supplier optimization
• Build long-term vendor relationships and negotiate strategic contracts
• Introduce innovative procurement models to improve supply chain visibility and agility

Production Oversight & Quality Assurance

• Align production planning with seasonal calendars and merchandising goals
• Ensure rigorous quality control across product categories
• Collaborate with design and technical teams to streamline sampling and bulk production

Operational Excellence & Team Leadership

• Champion lean methodologies and Six Sigma practices to drive continuous improvement
• Lead cross-functional teams and foster a culture of innovation and accountability
• Develop operational KPIs and reporting frameworks to support executive decision-making

Qualifications & Experience

Education

Bachelor's in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering; MBA preferred

Experience

10+ years in operations leadership within fashion or luxury retail

Technical Skills

ERP systems, PLM tools, WMS, and advanced Excel

Languages

Fluent in Italian and English; French or German is a plus
