Actuarial Pricing for a variety of markets and lines – your focus will be on the lines Marine & Energy, Engineering, Credit & Surety and Affinity
Development, enhancement and documentation of pricing parameters, models, processes and databases
Close collaboration with Underwriting and Risk Management
Actuarial analyses and studies to support strategic underwriting decisions
Qualifications required :
University degree in a scientific / numerate discipline and – ideally completed – actuarial qualification (SAV, IFoA, CAS etc.)
Language skills : very good command of English, additional languages and especially German would be a plus
Experience required :
Minimum five years of experience in non-life treaty pricing with focus on specialty lines like Marine & Energy, Engineering, Credit & Surety or Affinity; experience with CAT pricing or modelling is a plus
Experience in searching and selecting relevant data for the calibration of exposure curves or the assessment of certain sublines or special cover features
Strong knowledge of Excel and programming languages (e.g. VBA, R, Python) is indispensable; ideally experience in designing of databases
