Data Historian System Specialist

Our client is looking for a Data Historian System Specialist for its pharmaceutical production and packaging site in Kaiseraugst. You have ideally a vocational training as a technician or engineer in the field of information technology or automation, knowledge of AVEVA PI and some experience in GxP environment.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Support of the Aveva Plant Information (PI) and Room Monitoring (RMS) systems at the Basel and Kaiseraugst locations

• Implementation of equipment interfaces to the PI system

• Connection of production equipment to the production domain (Active Directory)

• Creation and updating of validation documentation

• Incident, problem and change management

Requirements:

• Completed vocational training, technician or engineer (Bachelor/Master) in the field of computer science, automation or similar

• Knowledge of AVEVA PI (formerly Osisoft) system (DA, AF, PI Vision)

• Experience in configuring PI interfaces

• Knowledge of OPC DA, AE, UA

• Knowledge of SQL databases and creating queries

• Experience with PLC controls and PCS systems (mostly Siemens S7)

• Experience in the GxP environment

• Fluent German (at least C2) and English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of network technology

• Knowledge of Rotronic Monitoring System (RMS)

• Experience with virtualization solutions (VMware)

• Experience with backup/restore applications (Acronis)

Duration: 12 months

Home office: 2 days per week
