About Our Client
Michael Page, International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) are seeking an Solution Architect to lead their digital standards initiatives. These organizations are collaborating on the SMART initiative, aiming to enhance standards' usability, accessibility, and machine-readability. The role involves developing a modern, digital-first approach to standardization, with a focus on creating a Single Delivery Unit (SDU) to serve members, partners, and users efficiently.
Job Description
- Enterprise and Data Architecture Management: Lead development of the SMART architecture framework, define the digital infrastructure vision, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure alignment with existing enterprise architectures of IEC and ISO.
- Data Management: Define data strategy, maintain ontology management, and ensure data protection and compliance with stakeholder requirements.
- Solution Implementation: Design and oversee the implementation of SMART solutions that meet data quality, security, and performance standards, promoting scalable and reusable infrastructure.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Guide external teams, collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance architecture and capabilities.
The Successful Applicant
- 10+ years in solution design, architecture, and roadmap creation.
- Knowledge of IT Enterprise and Data architecture standards.
- Experience with Cloud hyperscale platforms (AWS, Azure), graph databases, APIs, and distributed data stores.
- Strong understanding of digital tools, data modeling, AI, and ontology.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in dynamic environments.
