Security Transfers Professional

As a securities transfers professional, you will be responsible for managing securities transfers with precision and efficiency. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Main Responsibilities

• Process free of payment deliveries, including incoming, outgoing, and internal transfers of various securities, shares, bonds, mutual funds, and hedge funds.
• Issue instructions to counterparties as necessary.
• Send transfer requests to custodians / depositaries via swift MT540 / MT542 / MT599 or other electronic means.
• Follow up on transfer requests to ensure timely settlement and update relevant systems accordingly.
• Establish relationships with transfer agents when required.
• Maintain contact with various departments, such as Security Master, Investment Funds, Tax, Compliance, and Reconciliation team, for transfer purposes.
• Reconcile cash positions linked to tax or fees issued from trades and align securities positions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position within the financial or asset management industry.
• Good knowledge of stock markets, hedge funds, mutual funds, etc.
• Strong team player with the ability to deliver quality service during intense periods of activity.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Possession of skills in systems such as Temenos – GTmatch– GTExchange (formerly Stelink), SWIFT, Easyway, Vestima, SIX SIS and / or XACT is an advantage.
• Fluency in French and a very good level of English in writing and speaking is required.
