Business Development Lead Switzerland Role Brief

CertX is the first Swiss functional safety and cybersecurity certification bodyto hold accreditation from the Swiss Accreditation Service. We deliver certifications for products and management systems, as well as consulting and training services. We support renowned clients in Europe and worldwide with top-class expertise on Cybersecurity, Functional Safety, and Artificial Intelligence fields.

CertX is part of SGS since December 2024. SGS is the world's leading Testing, Inspection and Certification company.

We are looking to strengthen our teamin Switzerland with a Business Development Lead for our office in Fribourg, Switzerland (Hybrid Workplace)

Business DevelopmentLead Responsibilities

  • Drive active business development across the complete sales cycles for CertX and SGS Digital Trust services portfolio (TIC for AI, Cybersecurity, and functional Safety) to customers in Switzerland.
  • Maintain and expand active account management with a focus on Swiss customers.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with ecosystem partners on Safety, AI, and Cybersecurity.
  • Gather and analyse information about the Swiss market to understand trends, opportunities, competitors, customer needs and regulatory developments.
  • Collaborate and aligneffectively across teams and disciplines withinCertXtoacquire and support the execution of customerprojects.
  • Contribute to a culture that values, respects, and leverages diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Enhance the company by participating in cross-company initiatives such as recruiting, strategic positioning, and cross-functional partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of work experiencein a tech industry salesrole with primary emphasis onAI and/or Cybersecurity and/or Safety
  • Provenexpertise in building and executingsalesstrategies.
  • Business Experience in Switzerland’s TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industry is a real plus
  • Extensive network across various industries (e.g. Technology, Semiconductors, Automotive, Railway, Manufacturing).
  • Deep understanding of the tech industry and emerging trends.
  • Academic background in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience managing relationships within multinationalteams
  • Excellent communication skills inGerman (C2), French (C2) andEnglish (C2); proficiency Swiss German is a strong plus
