Senior .NET Engineer

On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced hedge fund firm. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where technology and finance intersect.

Contract Type: Permanent

Workload: 100%, onsite 4 days a week.

You will be joining a small team responsible for designing, developing, and supporting upgrades to our analytics platform and building out our data platform. This position requires proficiency and experience in software development using Microsoft .Net based technologies. While prior business knowledge is not mandatory, capital markets related experience will be a plus.d

• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for both in-house and third-party applications, ensuring their reliability, availability, and seamless integration with existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize software solutions that meet business needs and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technical solutions that align with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in object-oriented development with C#, including proficiency in design patterns and best coding practices. Ideally with experience in a leadership background but still hands on technically
• 8+ years of experience working with relational databases and SQL, including expertise in data modelling and database design.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus.
• Eligible to work in Switzerland (Swiss permit holder, citizen, or EU passport holder)
