For one of our clients based in Geneva, we are offering a position as :

Full-time

  • Physical commodity trading in Fertilizer, fertilizer raw materials, Chemicals, minerals, petrochemicals, and industrial raw materials. Develop self-sustainable lines of business in these areas as per company policy.
  • Establish and grow a personal desk/revenue stream of clients in the physical commodity industry, driving P&L. Develop trading strategies to meet medium and long-term business development goals.
  • Build and expand purchase and sales networks across Europe. Explore value addition, branding opportunities, and collaborate with management on new products, geographies, and pricing strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities, increase trade activities, and support products with potential for standalone growth or spot opportunities.
  • Negotiate and finalize trade transactions within your commodity area, ensuring timely, accurate, and profitable end-to-end/back-to-back trade flows. Continuously evaluate and improve trading processes.
  • Build and maintain relationships in target markets, enhance the company's profile, and increase marketplace awareness.
  • Conduct market research, monitor market trends, and develop strategies to expand the physical commodities business globally.
  • Responsibilities include market development, distribution management, negotiation, contracting, and issue resolution. Market assessment, strategy, and client management are key components. The role involves overseas travel, with expenses reimbursed per company policies.
  • Provide support and guidance to colleagues, promoting teamwork and a family-like atmosphere.
  • Assist with additional duties related to your employment as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with back-office and operational staff to ensure smooth logistics and supply chain management, maintaining clear communication across teams.

PROFIL ATTENDU

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in Fertilizer and raw materials.

You are fluent in English, especially in business and negotiation contexts.

You hold a Master’s degree in Finance or from a Business School.

You are comfortable with frequent travel across Europe.

You manage a client portfolio and are eager to contribute to the fertilizer market development in Europe.

You are dynamic, proactive, and business-oriented with a strong initiative.

You possess a commercial mindset, motivated by growth, performance, and client relationships.

You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, resilience, and negotiation abilities in a fast-paced environment.

You are results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying new trading opportunities and expanding market share.
