ICT Senior System Engineer

Proclinical is seeking an ICT Senior System Engineer - Architect to design, develop, and maintain robust ICT architectures while contributing to the evolution of a hybrid IT landscape. This position focuses on optimizing server infrastructure, automating solutions, and providing advanced support. The role also involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and supporting users through training and documentation.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ICT architectures.
• Enhance and optimize hybrid IT landscapes (On-Premises and Cloud).
• Define standards, guidelines, and strategic topics for ICT systems.
• Develop automated solutions using PowerShell scripting.
• Ensure a stable, high-performance server infrastructure.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd-level support for server infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Manage and optimize storage solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Train users and IT colleagues on system functionalities.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Proficiency in administering and configuring server environments.
• Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
• Expertise in Windows operating systems, including Windows Server administration and security.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policies (GPOs), Entra ID, and Microsoft Azure.
• Basic understanding of network architectures, VPNs, and security concepts.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Customer- and service-oriented approach.
• Structured working style with excellent documentation skills.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
