Within the Technical Department, we are looking for an R&D Engineer Trainee for a 6-month internship. You will support the R&D group in addressing the technical and regulatory challenges related to the implementation of Liquid Hydrogen (LH₂) in motorsport. You will also work will primarily focus on LH₂ systems, such as hydrogen storage tanks and refueling infrastructure, with strong emphasis on thermodynamic behavior, safety aspects, and performance analysis.
As part of this internship, you will have the opportunity to develop a thesis on the following topic:
“Thermodynamic Modeling of a Hydrogen Tank for Racing Applications: Focus on F1 & WEC Championships”.
The internship offers exposure to multiple FIA championships providing a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of sustainable racing technologies at the highest level.
