Your role :
Asset Management is a strategically important pillar of the Swiss financial center. In this role, you will play a key role in strengthening the positioning of Swiss asset management in a fact-based, data-driven, and sustainable manner.
You will develop and promote a fact- and data-based culture within the association by systematically using data and analyses as a basis for positioning, studies, regulatory discussions, and communication. You will ensure that high-quality data is available for dialogue with members, authorities, politicians, international organizations, and the public, actively contributing to the further development of the Asset Management industry.
Your main tasks :
- Contribute to industry positions with a focus on evidence-based arguments and providing a broader economic context, tailored to the relevant target group.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the AMAS data centre, making all relevant industry data readily available and positioning AMAS as the competence centre for Swiss Asset Management to the public.
- Manage and supervise AMAS studies and publications, working towards continuous improvements (such as the Swiss Asset Management Study).
- Translate complex economic relationships into understandable arguments, using visualization tools.
- Coordinate and lead AMAS Committees and smaller events.
- Serve as the main point of contact for select AMAS members.
- Support the AMAS team with data analysis and evaluations, including processing ad hoc enquiries.
- Lead select member groups and act as a point of contact for members.
Your profile :
- Experience in Asset Management or a related financial services industry, with an in-depth understanding of the Asset Management value chain.
- Ability to approach topics with a fresh mindset and an outside view.
- University degree in banking and finance, economics, or a related field.
- Passion for data-driven work and building an evidence-based communication culture.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Tech-savvy; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Datawrapper) is an advantage.
- Proven track record of executing tasks effectively.
- Enjoy working in interdisciplinary committees and with various stakeholders.
- Excellent language skills in German and English; French is an advantage.
