The Position

At our Basel site, in the Drug Substance area, we produce high-quality pharmaceutical active ingredients across three value streams – Monoclonal Antibody (MAB), Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC), and Single Use Technology (SUT). Our goal is to supply medications to patients worldwide.

The Manufacturing Lab Team MAB 95 offers you the opportunity to independently undertake diverse and challenging tasks in a biological production environment.

The Opportunity:

Become part of our team and support the development of innovative medicines through your involvement in the WCB startup process and sample management. You will coordinate interface activities related to the system-driven E2E process, handle deviations, and contribute to continuous improvements. Additionally, you will be part of the first-level support for production concerning laboratory equipment and sample management processes.

  • Assist production with daily operations, troubleshooting, and material management
  • Operate, maintain, and train on laboratory equipment, ensuring laboratory readiness
  • Manage and transport samples (Sample Management)
  • Maintain master data in systems such as SLIMS, Unilab, and MES
  • Prepare, review, and approve documents
  • Support process optimization and participate in projects, squads, and huddles
  • Participate in internal and external inspections/audits

Who you are:

  • You have completed training as a laboratory technician, pharmaceutical technologist, or hold a Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical field, preferably biotechnology or biology
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience and solid knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical processes
  • You possess excellent IT skills, with experience in laboratory software (e.g., LIMS, Unilab, MES) being advantageous
  • You are fluent in German, and English skills are a plus
  • You are willing to work in shifts (on-call duty)
