Our Risk team is an independent function, working closely with the Metals and Coal trading desks to ensure that the risk-reward of our trading books is properly balanced. Graduates who join this team have the chance to work across different areas of risk management, such as product, market, and credit risk.

Risk managers at Glencore maintain physical and derivative exposure while assessing the accuracy and validity of mark-to-markets to produce profit and loss reports and risk metrics. They provide analysis, ensuring that hedging aligns with our trading teams’ strategies.

Who we look for:

We are seeking students currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in STEM, Finance, Economics, or similar fields, and available to start in 2026. Graduates can start any time from January to December, based on their availability.
