Our client is an Ophthalmology Medical Device company who are seeking a dynamic and strategic marketing professional to lead and support the development and execution of marketing initiatives within a global framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep, strategic understanding of the global ophthalmology market—competitors, market dynamics, customer needs, and clinical trends—through market research, insights gathering, and close collaboration with regional teams.
  • Drive the development of global product marketing strategies and go-to-market plans, ensuring consistency across regions while allowing for local adaptation.
  • Lead the creation of global brand strategies and business plans for current and future product lines, aligning with their mission to deliver high-precision solutions.
  • Manage the global marketing budget, ensuring strategic investment and measurable ROI across projects and campaigns.
  • Create and maintain innovative marketing/ commercial strategies, focusing on sustainable growth while protecting their high-value market positioning.

Profile:

  • Analytical competence and structured thinking, with the ability to derive actionable insights from clinical, market, and business data to guide strategic decisions.
  • Strategic mindset with proven problem-solving capabilities—able to balance long-term vision with immediate execution, especially within the fast-paced medtech landscape.
  • Experience in managing and cultivating relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the ophthalmology space, ideally on a global scale.
  • Self-driven, resourceful, and creative—takes ownership, follows through, and brings forward solutions proactively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of relevant commercial experience in the medical device industry, preferably within Ophthalmology.
