Mission

Position Summary:

You are an accomplished account executive with experience in building strategic client growth and acquiring net-new business, especially in the defence technology services sector. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited about starting your own business from the ground up. You are thrilled by advanced and innovative technologies, including cybersecurity services and secure embedded systems used in emerging defence solutions such as edge AI, autonomous drones, and robotics. Kudelski Labs is expanding and seeking a Sales and Business Development Director to achieve growth targets within our defence and European aerospace sectors.

  • Define and execute a sales strategy for the territory as an extraordinary enterprise sales executive.
  • Consistently deliver service, support, and license revenue targets by deadlines.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting new clients to negotiating terms and closing opportunities in your territory.
  • Build relationships with named accounts, develop account plans, and manage opportunities.
  • Track, measure, and update activities within your prospects and existing clients in CRM, and communicate updates to the team.
  • Collaborate with and develop partners within the accounts and territory.

Requirements / Profile

Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in direct and/or channel large account technology and services sales, particularly in the information security space, with relevant experience in the defence and/or European space sectors.
  • A proven track record as a sales leader, including over-achieving sales revenue goals, managing pipelines and forecasts accurately, and excellent account management skills.
  • Influential and credible with C-level executives (CIO, CSO, CISO, CTO) to elevate cybersecurity on their agenda.
  • Effective negotiator with experience in procurement, licensing, and professional services contracts.
  • Experience explaining the value of security threat assessments, architecture reviews, and code audits.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, scaling, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in CRM and engaged with a team-oriented mentality.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with team members and corporate.
  • Technical degree and/or recognized security industry qualifications with related experience.
  • Experience with emerging technologies such as AI, autonomous drones, and robotics is a plus.
  • Based in Switzerland, either in a remote office or at our Swiss headquarters.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
  • Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
