For our office in Geneva, we are looking for a Senior Executive Trade Finance Solutions (TFS) Operations! Are you interested to join Bunge in the role centered around creating value by providing variety of trade finance services globally? Read on!


About the role
TFS’ business model is to intermediate risk and liquidity in the credit markets by arranging trade finance instruments with the purpose to subsequently sell them to banks, funds and other risk investors.
This is a middle office role requiring a commercial mindset with a solid operational focus to manage day-to-day trade finance transactions related to global agri commodity business. You will be responsible for creating value by providing trade finance services to Bunge Value Chain (VC), offer credit to VC clients, and arrange for the sale of generated financial asset in close cooperation with the VC, its clients, trade execution, other TFS groups and Functions.


To obtain this position we are looking for a candidate with:
Commercial Mindset:

• Creating value by maximizing margins;
• Managing working capital effectively;
• Proactive approach in executing Trade Finance Instrument.

Operational Focus:

• Support in establishing compliant settlement channels;
• Opening of import letters of credit based on contracts, handling of amendments and checking of negotiations under letters of credit;
• Handling of export transactions including checking of received letters of credit, amendments requests, and presentation of documents in utilization of letters of credit;
• Communication and coordination with VC traders, trade execution, contract desk, functions, other TFS groups, banks, and customers;
• Support of Stand-By Letter of Credits, Bid-bonds, Performance bonds, Guarantees.

Who are you?
Our ideal candidate would have at least 8 years combined experience gained from working in both a top-tier international bank and in a global agri trading or commodity company. You are a strong communicator who is result oriented and can work in a demanding environment.

• Detailed knowledge of commodity and trade finance (including letters of credit, bills of exchange, guarantees, UCP 600, URDG, ISBP);
• Fluency in English;
• Dynamic, hard-working, pro-active team player, curious and attentive to details;
• Ability to multitask, handle stress and deadlines;
• Experience in emerging markets, and an understanding of different cultures is a pre.
