Jobbeschreibung

The teaching and research activities of the Academy of Design and Art Basel, part of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), within the Institute of Experimental Design and Media Cultures (IXDM), focus on the development and communication of norm-critical, transversal, and post-disciplinary design practices. The thematic orientation of this role is aligned with the focal topics of IXDM labs Critical Media Lab and HyperWerk, and it is situated within the Transversal Design MA — a research-oriented, transdisciplinary master’s programme which explores social, ecological, political, and creative processes in their complex interdependencies. This is an exciting role for an enthusiastic self-starter who thrives in diverse, transdisciplinary settings, and has a passion for designing-otherwise across programme, community and curriculum in collaboration with creative and critical practitioners.
