ATM System Architect

The System Architect role is key for the development of the company's products. The architect is responsible for identifying and documenting optimal solutions adapted to the client's context, guiding the software engineering team, and ensuring alignment with Company Rules and Industry Best Practices. The role involves working at different levels of abstraction in the design process and interacting with stakeholders such as clients, system architects, software engineers, safety and compliance teams, etc.

Mission

Responsibilities Include

• System/Software Architecture: Identify standards/rules, analyze requirements, translate into architecture, document, and maintain documentation.
• Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, meet performance, and safety requirements.
• Design top-level software structure before development and guide implementation.
• Support verification engineers with verification approaches and architectural verification methods.
• Understand regulatory constraints' implications on architecture.
• Perform security and safety assurance activities and collaborate with experts.
• Participate in consulting missions and provide guidance on architecture to external clients.

Products Roadmap

• Organize and document the company's product roadmap for reusable software components.
• Maintain an improvement roadmap for legacy applications, monitoring obsolescence, identifying weak points, proposing performance improvements, and stabilization needs.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development and distributed systems implementation.
• 3+ years in (distributed) System Architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Good communication skills and fluency in English; French is a plus.
• Experience in the Air Traffic Management domain is a plus.
