IT Lead Architect 80 - 100% (f / m / d)

For our client, a company in the insurance industry based in Bern, we are looking for a Lead Architect for a permanent role.

Your responsibilities :

1. Development and maintenance of our overarching IT architecture strategy, aligning the technological roadmap and architectural principles with the company's business requirements, and unifying technologies in the role of Enterprise Architect.
2. Analysis of the existing IT system landscape and identification of improvement potential to gradually reduce the complexity of the technology portfolio.
3. Development and enforcement of standards, guidelines, and best practices for IT architecture, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards, including regular audits.
4. Collaborating with various stakeholders and actively communicating the architectural strategy and standards.
5. Promoting innovative ideas and new technologies to strengthen digital transformation at the company.
6. Completed higher education (university, university of applied sciences, college) in computer science, business informatics, or engineering.
7. Additional training or certifications in IT or enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF) are advantageous.
8. At least 7-10 years of practical IT experience, including several years in architecture and integration of complex system landscapes within an agile environment.
9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills at various levels, especially at the interface between IT and business.
10. Knowledge of common architectural frameworks, IT security architecture, data protection, and relevant technologies and tools.
11. Fluent written and spoken German; good English skills are advantageous.
