Senior Director, Finance - Medical Equipment (Remote USA)

The Senior Director of Finance will be responsible for directing the US organization’s financial planning and accounting practices. You will be a key business partner to the US President and manage relationships with the parent company’s corporate staff, with indirect reporting to the EVP Finance BU Infection Control. Your direct reports will include the US Finance and IT departments.
Compensation: $150,000-$180,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the President - US in implementing organizational goals and strategies.
- Interpret financial information to add value for local and global senior executives.
- Lead annual budgets, accounting, and forecasting activities.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.
- Ensure expenditures stay within budget and maintain internal controls.
- Develop effective working relationships with key personnel.
- Analyze data to improve operations and provide risk guidance.
- Coordinate with administrative services and ensure timely transaction processing.
- Maintain proper financial records and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Evaluate financial position and prepare reports on financial circumstances.
- Study economic and financial conditions affecting costs and strategies.
- Stay current with relevant technical skills.
- Ensure organizational growth and high performance.
- Manage tax matters, legal issues, and global finance strategy implementation.
- Liaise with auditors and contribute to the global finance community.
Financial Management:
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance.
- Analyze economic conditions and organizational financial health.
Information Technology:
- Manage IT support structure and projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles within corporate structures.
- Success in a global, matrix, and culturally diverse environment.
- Strong leadership, management, and influencing skills.
- Excellent business, financial, and data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and German GAAP.
- Technical proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (preferably SAP), and reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (2-4 times/year).
