Job Overview

We are looking for a GlobalHead of Market Development who is ready to take full ownership and drive growth in a fast-paced, international environment. You’ll be the strategic and operational leader of our Market Development Team, leading Sales & Marketing at the intersection ofcutting-edge tech and business model disruptionin Retail Media.

This is a role for someone who thrives on crafting strategies and executing them hands-on, working across revenue operations, market strategy, and enablement in one of the most exciting vertical in the industry.

More than customer acquisition, this role is about designing and growing a scalable partner ecosystem around our clients, from integrators, media agencies, adtech providers, etc..

This role has a clear growth trajectory: it's strategic stepping stone to a VP or C-level position as Advertima scale.

Role
  • Strategy Development: Define OKRs and KPIs, manage the budget, and own the Go-to-Market strategy (ICP, ABM, Customer Journey Mapping). Continuously drive sales & marketing initiatives (AI tools). Apply Crossing the Chasm and Lean Startup principles to market strategy, customer adoption, and innovation cycles.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow the Sales & Marketing Team. Facilitate knowledge transfer and alignment with Product, Engineering and Customer Success. Create a performance-driven culture that foster both ownership and experimentation.
  • Sales & Revenue Operations: Own the CRM and technology stack (Salesforce, Account Engagement, WordPress, Semrush, etc..), while also building and managing lead qualification and the opportunity pipeline using the MEDDPICC framework. Drive forecasting, reporting, and financial planning and prepare executive-level sales and shareholder reports.
  • Growth Marketing & Enablement:Lead content marketing anddata privacy communication strategies. Drive the partner program, from segmentation and co-marketing to joint solution design and shared GTM. Own product-related responsibilities such as pricing strategyand development of use cases narratives.


Profile
  • 10+ years of Market Development Management experience, ideally in AdTech, Retail Media, or Media.
  • Proven experiencenot only in customer acquisition but also in partner ecosystem building around complex B2B solution.
  • Strong backgroundin launching and evolving Sales & Marketing strategies in B2B, high-velocity startup environment.
  • Deep, practical understandingof the Crossing Chasm and Lean Startupframeworks, you've applied them in real go-to-market decisions.
  • You understand how modern tech stacks work, can translate business needs into technical solutions, and are comfortable collaborating with product, engineering, and data teams.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset: resourceful, results-driven, and confident in making decisions under uncertainty.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a natural ability to influence, align teams, and mentor others.
  • Fluent in German & English (spoken and written) is a must.


Ideally, you have
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with MarTech tools.
  • Experience building or scaling commercial partnership in a tech-driven B2B environment.
