The Services & Wellbeing department ensures health and safety on campus and provides non-academic services and activities for the EHL community. The Sports Department promotes physical activity by offering various sports activities tailored to the needs of both the EHL community and external clients.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sports Center Manager who aligns with our leadership principles: transparency, accountability, collaboration, care, and experimentation.

Sports Center Manager

The role involves overseeing daily operations of the sports facilities, including the pool, fitness center, and Oakfield. Responsibilities include compliance with legal requirements, financial management, and developing sports programs aligned with the business plan.

What will you do?

  • Manage the overall operation of the Sports facility, including staffing.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and standards, maintaining proper documentation.
  • Develop and grow the business in line with strategic objectives and KPIs.
  • Manage membership systems, front desk, and back-office operations.
  • Handle financial matters such as purchases, sales, and budgeting.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to explore business opportunities.
  • Lead and develop the sports team through planning, training, and evaluation.

Who are you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a similar role.
  • Excellent team management and interpersonal skills.
  • Calm and composed under pressure.
  • Practical, solution-oriented problem solver.
  • Proficient with IT systems, databases, Excel, and membership management platforms.
  • Knowledgeable of sports terminology and regulations.
  • Experience in event planning, organization, and finance.
  • Native French speaker and fluent in English (C1); German is a plus.
