The Role

We are seeking a visionary Senior Business Strategy Consultant focused on the banking and insurance industry. In this role, you will lead consulting projects involving strategic planning, organizational restructuring, and business optimization. You will work with senior management to analyze businesses and provide innovative recommendations. Additionally, you will evaluate acquisition, investment, and divestiture opportunities from inception to negotiation, collaborating with external advisors and engaging with CEOs and senior management across the technology spectrum.

You will build strong relationships with senior management, conduct interviews, gather data, and analyze industry trends to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks. Your insights will drive strategic development and lasting change, with ongoing monitoring of KPIs to ensure successful outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in business strategy consulting within banking and insurance, M&A, or related fields
  • Experience in process excellence, target operating model design, post-merger integration, research, and compliance
  • Background in Business Analytics
  • Led projects for global financial services at the intersection of business and technology
  • Skilled in data gathering, market research, and developing insights and recommendations
  • Deep understanding of business operations, industry dynamics, and market trends
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging clients and delivering reports
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience delivering data-driven solutions and process improvements leveraging emerging technologies, focusing on customer experience and operational efficiency in banking and insurance
  • Directed end-to-end M&A projects, including due diligence, operating model design, and integration, ensuring strategic alignment and synergy realization
