Our client is seeking an FPGA Firmware Development & Test Engineer to design, implement, and validate FPGA firmware for test automation. You will contribute to the development of cutting-edge tools and frameworks that ensure product quality and performance.

Job Description

  • Participate in the development of a test automation framework.
  • Design and implement FPGA modules for integration testing.
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts to validate product conformity.
  • Leverage hardware and software skills to build testing infrastructure.
  • Evaluate new FPGA technologies and tools.
  • Improve testing processes and propose enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in FPGA design (Verilog or VHDL).
  • Proficient in Python programming.
  • Familiar with FPGA design frameworks (Yosys, Amaranth, Migen, LiteX).
  • Experience with testbench tools (Verilator, iverilog, GTKwave).
  • Basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Service-oriented mindset with excellent communication abilities.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Experience with embedded firmware development (ARM core, Microblaze) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, GitHub Actions, Docker) is a plus.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
