Cost Engineer (Civil Works)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project and evaluating the cost to take on that project. The candidate will be familiar with competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process.

• Degree as a Site Manager and/or Federal Certificate as a Foreman or a Civil Engineering degree, or any equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in site management or cost estimation in Switzerland
• French fluency
• Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and synthesis mindset

• Calculate cost estimates for civil engineering project bids
• Prepare the technical documentation and associated materials (plans, schedules, etc.)
• Propose feasible alternative solutions
• Transfer the project study and methodology for awarded projects to Site Managers and/or Project Managers
• Provide technical support to Site Managers and/or Project Managers during execution
• Participate in clarification and pre-award meetings
