BSc in engineering or equivalent; or at least 4 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 4 years of related work experience.
Ability to make sound decisions, work independently, and within a team structure.

Well organized and respectful of project deadlines.
Ability to communicate in an open, clear, precise, and effective manner with customers, peers, and all levels of management.
Knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley / Siemens S7 is an asset).

Responsible for assisting in the design of control systems and programming to meet project budgets and timelines as defined by the Project Manager.
Able to modify control designs and related documents according to Company Processes & Standards and in compliance with industry standards and customer URS.
Develop specific programs per customer and project requirements based on Company Coding Standards.
Participate in control validation activities, conduct testing and debugging, internal buy-offs, FAT, and SAT.
Collaborate with the Customer, Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Process Manager, Design Engineers, and other project team members as required.
Communicate with the Customer as per project requirements.
Collaborate with suppliers as needed.
Update PCT and task completion records accordingly.
