Chief Software Infrastructure Engineer

This role is a key strategic position responsible for shaping the system and software architecture in line with industry best practices and regulatory standards. It requires the ability to define and maintain system / software architectural standards and guidelines, analyze system / software requirements, and translate them into comprehensive, scalable, and high-performance architectural designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Define architectural standards and guidelines that align with industry best practices.
• Analyze complex system / software requirements and create detailed architectural designs.
• Maintain and enhance existing system components by identifying performance bottlenecks and proposing improvement strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in software development, particularly with distributed systems.
• 3+ years of experience in system architecture, preferably within complex or regulated domains.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with modern DevOps tools and practices (CI / CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Requirements

• Fluency in English (written and spoken); French is considered an asset.
• Be eligible for a Swiss Working Permit (Swiss or EU Citizenship or valid Swiss Working Permit)
