This unique opportunity offers a researcher position in an academic / industrial setting, focusing on advanced research in mass spectrometry-based biotherapeutic profiling.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform LC-HRMS-based proteomics workflows, focusing on Orbitrap instruments.
  • Design and execute sample preparation protocols.
  • Process, interpret, and report data for proteomics and biotherapeutic characterisation projects.
  • Apply and optimise MAM strategies for detailed characterisation of biologics.
  • Analyse host cell protein profiles for quality and process control.
  • Collaborate with software developers to streamline data processing and integration.
  • Engage with industry stakeholders to translate findings into real-world applications.
  • Contribute to manuscript preparation, reports, and scientific presentations.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in LC-HRMS, particularly with Orbitrap mass spectrometers.
  • Experience with proteomics workflows, including digestion, enrichment, and quantification techniques.
  • Expertise with Genedata Expressionist or similar proteomics data analysis platforms; knowledge of MAM workflows and HCP analysis will be considered a valuable asset.
  • Knowledge of protein structure, post-translational modifications, and therapeutic protein analysis.
  • Experience with bioinformatics and / or coding in R, Python, or similar languages is a plus.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and collaborative skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
