On behalf of a leading Financial Services / Insurance company headquartered in Zürich whom are implementing a new ITSM solution, we are searching for an experienced ITSM Engineer to drive the technical implementation and ongoing development of ITSM services, with a particular focus on Remedy & Helix.

This is a contract role beginning in mid-August, hybrid with 40% remote.

Your Role

You'll play a central role in the technical implementation and ongoing development of the ITSM platform. Working within an experienced team, you'll focus on improving and maintaining key ITSM processes including Incident, Change, Request, and Configuration Management. This is a hands-on engineering role with strong potential to grow into the go-to expert for all ITSM topics within the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the rollout of a new ITSM solution
• Enhancing and maintaining ITSM processes
• Automating workflows through scripting (PowerShell, SQL; C# is a plus)
• Managing and developing the CMDB (data model, imports, quality assurance)
• Optimizing interfaces and integrations (API-based)
• Collaborating closely with a technical team, with future ownership of ITSM topics

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in IT Asset & Configuration Management
• Proven background in ITSM project work and process implementation
• Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, SQL)
• Experience with BMC Remedy
• Familiarity with API integration and development
• ITIL and/or DevOps know-how
• Fluency in German and English
