We are looking for a Relationship Manager Associate for our Commercial and Institutional Banking businesses (Commercial Banking, Financial Institutions and Trade Finance) in Zürich.

The Relationship Manager Associate - CIB is responsible for supporting the Head of CIB and the teams, by providing strong and efficient administration, record keeping and processing of related client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support CIB to deliver the Strategy Plan by providing excellent client service activities
  • Liaise with CIB teams to ensure smooth processing of client requirements
  • Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure CIB operational activities are completed accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Support Relationship Managers administratively as required
  • Respond to client queries in relation to account opening, e-banking and other applicable topics
  • Support the CIB reporting requirements and prepare data / reports as applicable
  • Monitor and maintain the Target Client List, Denied List, Exposure list and other applicable departmental data
  • Prepare documentation and obtain required approvals - ensure timely follow-up / escalation
  • Review the compliance monitor and investigate / action accordingly
  • Support in other ad hoc tasks in relation to the role and function, as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Apprenticeship or BA in applicable financial / banking topics
  • Related certification / training

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in banking / RMA activities / a similar role
  • Proven experience in coordinating, organizing and banking administration activities

Skills:

  • Product knowledge of Transaction Banking / Lending business
  • Experience in banking operations
  • Experience in Credit risk evaluation (an advantage)
  • Experience in Swiss Commercial Banking

Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • High professional proficiency in English and German - Swiss-German an advantage
  • Highly organised and the ability to effectively prioritise workload
  • Client and team centric approach (essential)
  • Flexible and accommodating i.e. willing to take on new and ad hoc tasks as required
