Position Overview:

As Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving global business growth through market assessments, new partnerships, country and region expansions, and M&A opportunities. . Leveraging your deep experience and extensive relationships in healthcare, you will identify and develop opportunities to increase revenues in new markets, with new products, and through partnerships.

The Investor Relations (IR) Lead will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s investor relations strategy, engaging with existing and potential investors, and supporting the company’s fundraising objectives, including preparing for a potential IPO. This role involves close collaboration with various departments to ensure clear, consistent, and compelling communication with the investment community.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Develop and implement in close collaboration with the regional business teams and functional teams a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company goals
  • Support the regional business teams to establish market entry strategies for new markets and products
  • Build and maintain relationships with key investors and payers in the industry including dental service organizations, distributors, and healthcare organizations globally
  • Work in close collaboration with the R&D and Marketing teams to develop and manage a licensing business model by establishing collaborations with third-party entities to expand reach and revenue streams
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environments to capitalize on opportunities
  • Set and monitor specific KPIs to evaluate growth initiatives and partnership success in close cooperation with the Finance and Data Analytics teams

Investor Relations

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive investor relations strategy aimed at engaging family offices, institutional investors, and potential new funding sources
  • Leading the preparation of materials for fundraising activities, investor presentations, and due diligence processes
  • Lead the preparation of documentation required for an IPO, including prospectuses, investor decks, and regulatory filings, in close coordination with legal, finance, and communications teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders
  • Monitor market conditions, investor sentiment, and industry trends to inform strategic IR activities
  • Organize and manage investor meetings, roadshows, conference calls, and other engagement activities
  • Support ongoing investor communications, quarterly reports, and other disclosures to ensure transparency and investor confidence
  • Provide insights and feedback to executive management to shape investor messaging and strategic positioning
  • Track and analyse investor feedback and market developments to refine IR strategies

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields preferably with Honours
  • 10-15 years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, corporate finance, or related areas gained in leading financial institutions, within Med Tech and Life Sciences industries
  • Strong network within the dental, medical device and healthcare sectors gained across multiple geographies including North America, Europe as well as Asia and Middle East.
  • Proven track record of establishing or advising on cross-border buy-side, sell-side transactions but also creation of joint-ventures, partnerships and licensing agreements Strong understanding of capital markets, investor profiling, and IPO processes
  • Proven ability to develop comprehensive IR strategies and materials, including investor presentations, prospectuses, and regulatory filings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, with experience engaging with institutional investors, family offices, analysts, and management teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively with CFOs, legal and operational teams, and senior management
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
