Your Tasks
- Lead and develop the Programme Management Department by ensuring the team is structured, trained, and equipped to deliver complex aviation programmes.
- Oversee the execution of Government Aviation programmes, ensuring adherence to processes, timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement robust risk management by overseeing risk identification in bids, managing risk budgets, and leading programme and cost reviews.
- Foster strong customer relationships and collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless programme execution.
- Enhance programme management by improving tools, templates, and procedures while fostering a lessons-learned culture.
- Contribute to strategy and leadership by representing the department in leadership forums, supporting unit-wide initiatives, and driving strategic projects.
With this you convince us
- Extensive aviation expertise with solid experience in the aircraft industry, ideally in interactions with Government customers, and knowledge of aircraft life cycle operations.
- Strong educational background with technical qualifications (e.g., Engineering degree), business education (e.g., MBA), and Programme Management certifications being beneficial.
- Proven leadership skills in managing direct and cross-functional teams, leading complex programmes, and demonstrating lateral leadership capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management with a track record in customer negotiations, collaboration across departments, and process optimization experience.
- High personal competence with strong organizational skills, accountability, resilience, and the ability to work independently and accurately.
- Exceptional interpersonal and management skills including motivation, empathy, commercial awareness, intercultural understanding, and innovative thinking.
