What is the role that we need?

Key Responsibilities:

● Conduct daily reviews and monitoring of breaks to ensure procedural adherence, comprehensive

documentation, and timely resolution.

● Perform daily and monthly auditing of work processes.

● Prepare and Review GAAP Financial Statements.

● Review and process all investor movements to ensure compliance with established procedures and controls, our SLA requirements and the client’s formation documents.

● Reconcile portfolio holdings, cash balances and transactions between internal systems and third party custodians or fund administrator.

● Accurately book investor activity into technology and ensure compliance with client’s formation documents.

● Maintain thorough knowledge of industry standards and changes in regulation that affect investor reporting/compliance.

● Spearhead on-boarding of new processes from clients to manila team.

● Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, clients, custodians, and counterparties to support accounting operations and reporting. Communicating effectively and efficiently.

● Serve as a competent backup resource during the absence of accountants.

● Lead process reviews aimed at the development and enhancement of the team's systems and processes to ensure continual efficiency gains and process improvements.

● Assist Portfolio Operations Lead in ensuring the team members understand process updates through creation and maintenance of process documents and trainings.

Requirements

● Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accounting. CPA, CMA, and Master's degree is a plus.

● 8-10+ years experience in Fund Accounting, Accounting, and Audit from a multinational bank, investment management firm, hedge fund, or fund administrator.

● Profound understanding of investment transactions, reconciliations, asset classes, US GAAP, Financial Statement analysis, Partner Allocations, and calculate Management/Performance Fees.

● Comprehensive knowledge of financial products including private equities, global equities, futures, swaps, options, FX, OTC derivatives, and fixed income.

● Exceptional English proficiency, both oral and written.

● Strong excel skills and ability to analyze complex financial data.

● Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

● Ability to operate autonomously and deliver superior quality outputs

● High integrity, self-starter, and able to work independently or collaboratively in a distributed team environment.

● Must be highly organized with strong time management and handle high volume work.

● Must be proactive, motivated, detail-oriented and a team player with the understanding of how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics.
