Applaudo seeks a visually driven Web Designer to turn product requirements, user needs, and brand direction into polished digital experiences across web, mobile, and kiosk platforms.

You will translate business needs into intuitive interfaces, develop concepts from exploration to high-fidelity prototypes, and ensure brand standards and a robust design system are applied consistently.

Formación

• 4+ years of Web, Visual, UI, or Digital Experience Design.
• Strong portfolio with polished responsive web and mobile interfaces.
• Advanced hands-on proficiency with Figma.
• Experience with design systems and handoffs to development.
• Strong English proficiency for daily collaboration with international teams.

You are a visually driven Web Designer who enjoys transforming product requirements, user needs, and brand direction into polished, engaging digital experiences. You have a strong eye for visual hierarchy, typography, composition, spacing, and detail, while understanding how your design decisions translate across responsive products and different digital touchpoints.

You are comfortable taking ideas from early visual exploration through high-fidelity, development-ready designs, working within established design systems and brand standards. You collaborate effectively with product, UX, and engineering teams, bring consistency to complex digital experiences, and maintain a high bar for visual quality, usability, and execution.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience in web, visual, UI, or digital experience design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual and interface design for responsive digital products.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, Auto Layout, styles, libraries, and interactive prototypes.
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, color, composition, spacing, and layout.
• Experience designing responsive experiences for web, mobile, and different screen sizes.
• Ability to translate product requirements, user needs, and brand guidelines into polished visual solutions.
• Experience creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and development-ready design specifications.
• Experience working with design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Understanding of usability and accessibility best practices.
• Experience collaborating with Designers, Product Managers, Developers, and business stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across complex digital experiences.
• Advanced English proficiency for daily communication with international teams.

You Will Be Accountable For The Following Responsibilities

• Design visually polished and intuitive experiences for web, mobile, and kiosk platforms.
• Translate business requirements, product direction, and user needs into engaging interface designs.
• Develop concepts from initial visual exploration through high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Apply brand standards and established design-system components consistently across digital products.
• Create responsive layouts for multiple devices, screen sizes, and interaction models.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, and business stakeholders to refine requirements and design solutions.
• Prepare design specifications, assets, interaction guidance, and documentation for development teams.
• Participate in design critiques and incorporate feedback while maintaining a strong visual perspective.
• Review implemented experiences and address inconsistencies between approved designs and the final product.
• Support multiple teams and initiatives while managing priorities, deadlines, and feedback effectively.
• Help improve shared patterns and reusable components when recurring design needs are identified.
• Ensure designs meet usability, accessibility, consistency, and quality standards.

Note:

Figma is the primary design tool for this role. AI-based design tools are not currently part of the approved workflow.

• Advanced hands-on proficiency with Figma.
• Strong visual design fundamentals and responsive design experience.

• Advanced English proficiency.
