At Fresno Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center, you'll join an established, collaborative specialty team dedicated to providing exceptional emergency and critical patient care to the Central Valley. As a board-certified Criticalist, you'll have the opportunity to manage challenging cases alongside experienced emergency clinicians, specialty colleagues, and a highly trained technical team in a hospital that is committed to advancing the level of veterinary medicine available locally.
FVSEC is a 24/7/365 emergency and critical care facility with a family of board-certified specialists and experienced technical staff. The hospital works closely with referring veterinarians to provide a team-based approach to patient care and is the only approved Emergency and Critical Care Resident Training Facility in the Central Valley, creating an excellent environment for teaching, mentorship, and professional growth.
The hospital's specialty team includes Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Surgery, Dentistry, and Emergency & Critical Care, providing opportunities for meaningful collaboration and comprehensive case management.

Available technology includes CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, long-term ventilation, endoscopy and bronchoscopy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and in-house laboratory capabilities.
