Formación

Compensation

$5,000 - $7,500 USD gross per month, negotiable. Compensation may vary based on education, experience, qualifications, and market alignment.

About the Role

Vendor Management Program Manager. Leads execution of third‑party risk management framework, overseeing vendor lifecycle and ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Standards & Governance: work cross‑functionally with IT, Legal, and Compliance to establish and maintain third‑party risk standards and governance practices.
  • Due Diligence & Monitoring: conduct comprehensive vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoring, evaluating consumer‑impact risk, complaint analysis, privacy and data protection standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting: manage third‑party risk documentation and reporting, maintain vendor and data processor inventory, ensure timely onboarding/offboarding due diligence, execute periodic compliance reviews.
  • Risk Assessment: execute day‑to‑day risk assessments to determine vendor criticality and identify inherent risks in areas such as PII handling, BSA/AML, and credit decisioning.
  • Collaboration: work with Legal to ensure effective contracts and with Information Security to validate technical safeguards of third‑party partners.
  • Issue Escalation: identify, track, and elevate risk events or performance failures to senior leadership and bank partners via issue‑tracking systems.
What We Look For
  • Experience: 7+ years in vendor risk management, procurement, or third‑party compliance, preferably in fintech or regulated financial services.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: understanding of third‑party risk management lifecycle and guidance such as PCI‑DSS, SOC 2, GLBA, and BSA/AML.
  • Execution: proven track record of managing a high volume of vendor assessments and maintaining audit‑readiness for bank partners and regulators.
  • Education: bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Technology: demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools and comfortable leveraging AI for productivity, research, and communication.
