Hitachi Energy Colombia Ltda in Dosquebradas, Risaralda, Colombia, seeks an Electrical/Electromechanical Engineer to join the transformer design team. You will lead the preparation of technical offers, assess customer specifications and develop compliant, cost-effective designs for the market.

The role involves reviewing technical parameters, drafting bills of materials, data sheets, and catalogs, and ensuring adherence to international standards while supporting quality and profitability

Formación

• Electrical/Electronics/Electromechanical Engineer or related professional
• Desirable experience of more than 2 years in electrical design of Distribution and/or Power transformers
• English medium to high level written and verbal communication (Preferred C1 level or higher)
• Good Software Management of AutoCAD, Office and programming skills

Responsabilidades

• Carry out technical offer preparation for transformer projects per customer specifications and company guidelines.
• Review offers to identify required technical parameters and develop optimal, cost-effective designs.
• Prepare Bills of Materials, costs, technical data sheets and project specifications for marketing to finalize the commercial offer.
• Where applicable, draft dimensional sketches, technical catalogs and accessories information for the offer package.
• Analyze material and accessory options to optimize design and reduce costs from a technical perspective.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
