The Nuclear Company is seeking 10 motivated engineering interns to join our Engineering and Construction teams for Summer 2027. You will work with experienced engineers on real projects that impact nuclear plant construction, operations, and safety, gaining hands-on experience while learning about the nuclear industry.

You will apply your coursework to practical tasks, contribute to documentation and analyses, and collaborate across disciplines.

Formación

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
  • Completed at least sophomore year by summer 2026
  • Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals and problem-solving
  • Proficiency with Excel, MATLAB, Python, or other technical tools
  • Familiarity with CAD software or engineering analysis tools
  • Technical writing and documentation skills
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and calculations

Responsabilidades

  • Support engineering projects across mechanical, electrical, civil, or nuclear systems
  • Assist with technical documentation, engineering calculations, and compliance verification
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes and regulatory documentation
  • Help coordinate and support construction activities

About the role

We're seeking 10 motivated engineering interns to join our Engineering and Construction teams for Summer 2027. You'll work alongside experienced engineers on real projects that directly impact nuclear plant construction, operations, and safety. This is a hands‑on opportunity to contribute to next‑generation nuclear infrastructure while learning about the nuclear industry.

Responsibilities

  • Help coordinate and support construction activities

Experience
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering discipline

Preferred Experience
  • Coursework or interest in nuclear engineering or energy systems
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance or quality assurance
  • Previous internship experience in engineering, energy, construction, or manufacturing
  • Passion for clean energy and climate solutions
Estimated Starting Salary Range

The estimated starting rate for this role is $25/hr annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi‑weekly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
