Applaudo is seeking an analytical and proactive QA Functional Analyst to understand complex business processes beyond the UI, validating rules, transactions, and data across layers. This is a temporary 3-month opportunity at Applaudo.

You will design risk-based tests, validate data integrity with SQL, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality under tight deadlines. Banking/fintech exposure is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years in Functional Quality Assurance for complex apps.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Intermediate SQL skills for data validation.
• Ability to validate data consistency across layers (frontend, backend, DB).
• Knowledge of test-design techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables).
• Experience testing web, mobile, API-based, or transactional apps.
• Strong communication and ownership.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to identify risks and coverage gaps.
• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Validate business rules across multiple application layers.
• Use SQL to verify data consistency, transaction integrity, and persistence.
• Compare frontend behavior with backend and database results.
• Document, track, and retest defects through resolution.
• Prioritize testing based on business and technical risks.
• Collaborate with Developers, BAs, Product Owners, and distributed teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate progress and quality concerns.
• Adapt to changing requirements under deadlines.
