Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation’s KSA C4I Modernization Team seeks a Systems Engineer to shape the functional architecture and system capabilities during the design phase of a major modernization program. You will decompose requirements, create MBSE models, contribute to CONOPs, and support documentation while coordinating with an international customer.

Some travel to customer sites may be required as the project progresses.

Qualifications

• MBSE experience using Cameo or similar tools
• Experience defining and documenting requirements
• Experience with Use Case and CONOPs refinement
• Familiarity with Systems Engineering V-Diagram activities
• 2+ years of relevant work experience or an advanced STEM degree

WHAT WE'RE DOING

Join the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia (KSA) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) Modernization Team and be a critical contributor on the first-phase design team helping to shape the project’s overarching modernization initiatives.

The team’s primary focus during the design stage is to shape the functional architecture and system capabilities that will rapidly modernize the customer’s product line. Day-to-day activities will include (but are not limited to) requirements governance, architecture definition, system documentation, CONOPs development, and integration guidance/planning. This is an opportunity to help design and develop the updated baseline while working directly with an international customer.

THE WORK

The KSA C4I Team is seeking a systems engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will:

• Decompose customer requirements and use cases into system capabilities and functions
• Perform requirements tracing to ensure that the necessary system and subsystems are developed in accordance with customer requirements/expectations
• Create/refine MBSE models depicting system architecture and system activity/sequence diagrams
• Help contribute to various SE CDRL documents, including (but not limited to): SEMP, ICD, SDD's, TEMP
• Help refine and develop overall system CONOPs to ensure planned modernization capabilities continue to meet the overall mission needs

PLEASE NOTE

• This position may require travel to customer sites throughout the KSA.
• This position may occasionally support off-hours test events, including overnight and weekend activities.

The KSA C4I Modernization Team is a geographically dispersed project team that will operate in an Agile Scrum environment. Team members have the opportunity to work directly with an international customer and gain exposure to the technologies and processes supporting this upgrade.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in MBSE (Cameo, Rhapsody)
• Experience with Requirements Definition and Documentation (DOORS, Jama)
• Experience with Use Case and CONOPs Refinement
• Familiarity with the various activities in the Systems Engineering V-Diagram
• 2+ years of relevant work experience (OR an Advanced Degree in STEM)

Pay Information

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $88100.00 - $163700.00
• Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $79300.00 - $147300.00
• Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $70500.00 - $130900.00
