Huge is seeking a Solutions Architect to guide the technology craft in Colombia. You will define the application structure, integration design, and scaleable solutions across backend services and front-end stacks, with a strong focus on HIPAA-compliant patterns and secure identity approaches.

You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into architectural roadmaps, document decisions using ADRs, and drive end-to-end platform strategy in a remote-friendly environment

Formación

• Proven experience architecting composable platforms with SaaS CMS and DAM integrations.
• Hands-on experience with API mesh and multi-source orchestration.
• Experience hosting frontend (Vercel) and cloud setups with caching, HA, DR.
• Knowledge of monorepo architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong ADR/TDD documentation and architectural decision skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Advise on overall app structure, full-stack architecture, and tech approaches while assessing frontend feasibility.
• Define integration strategy between frontend/back-end, APIs, and healthcare data standards (FHIR R4).
• Architect composable platforms leveraging SaaS CMS, DAMs, API mesh, cloud hosting with caching, HA, and DR capabilities.
• Support Technical Design Documents, ADR processes, and execution roadmaps for future development phases.
• Oversee monorepo strategies, spec-driven development, CI/CD, quality checks, and branching methodologies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve challenges and drive end-to-end platform alignment.

The role.

Huge is looking for a Solutions Architect to join the Technology Craft in Colombia. In this role, you will provide technical guidance throughout the application development lifecycle with a strong modern full-stack experience. In this internal, technical role, you will focus on solution architecture and integration design, defining the application structure and integration strategy with backend services, and evaluating front-end stack feasibility. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to translate technical requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions and deliver key technical documentation and roadmaps.

What you'll be doing.

• Advise on overall application structure, full-stack architecture, and technical approaches while assessing front-end stack feasibility.
• Define and guide the integration strategy between front-end components, backend services, APIs, and healthcare data standards (FHIR R4), incorporating secure identity and authentication approaches.
• Architect composable platforms leveraging SaaS CMS, 3rd-party DAMs, API mesh/APIM orchestration, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and hosting solutions with Caching, HA, and DR capabilities.
• Support technical audits, author inputs for the Technical Design Document (TDD), formalize decisions using an Architectural Decision Record (ADR) process, and detail execution roadmaps for subsequent development phases.
• Oversee monorepo strategies, spec-driven development integration, CI/CD pipelines, quality checks, branching methodologies, and HIPAA-compliant architecture patterns.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to resolve challenges, ensure full-stack alignment, and drive scope ramp-up for seamless roadmap handoffs.

What we'd like to see.

• Proven experience architecting composable platforms, integrating SaaS-based CMS solutions (e.g., Optimizely, Contentstack, Contentful), and integrating 3rd-party Digital Asset Managers (DAMs).
• Strong background in API mesh or API technologies to orchestrate multiple data sources, alongside hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using edge functions, runtimes, and databases.
• Experience architecting frontend hosting (Vercel, custom cloud setups) featuring Caching, High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, and HIPAA-compliant architecture.
• Deep knowledge of monorepo architecture, federated services/libraries, spec-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, quality delivery checks, and branching strategies.
• Strong understanding of React Native, API integrations, healthcare data standards (FHIR R4 integration patterns), and identity/authentication strategies.
• Ability to document solutions using ADR processes, author TDDs, and communicate complex architecture concepts clearly to engineering teams.
• Comfortable navigating technical ambiguity to deliver robust architecture that fully satisfies project requirements, with a hands-on approach to mastering platforms and technologies beyond the team's baseline.
• Responsible for defining and driving the end-to-end platform solution and architecture strategy for the program.
• Advanced professional English proficiency (verbal and written).
