EPAM Systems is seeking a Solution Architect (AI & Data Platform) to design a unified data ecosystem and AI-powered workflows across Snowflake and AWS. You will align architectural direction with senior stakeholders while contributing hands-on engineering delivery.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.
• 1 year of experience leading a team of at least 5.
• Involvement in 2+ full-cycle projects or multiple projects across development stages.
• Proven history of enterprise-scale AI and data transformation initiatives.
• Deep Snowflake expertise including data modeling and performance optimization.
• Hands-on AWS experience (S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM).
• Strong Python and SQL skills for building data platforms.
• Experience with Kafka and Airflow in production environments.
• Knowledge of AI/ML workflows and agent-based system design.
• Understand data platform consolidation strategies and trade-offs.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

We are looking for a Solution Architect (AI & Data Platform) to design a unified data ecosystem and AI-powered workflows across Snowflake and AWS. You will align architectural direction with senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on with engineering delivery and active code contributions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a gap analysis of the current data and AI architecture landscape
• Architect and deliver a consolidated data platform that spans Snowflake and AWS
• Establish AI workflow architecture that supports scalability while limiting technical debt
• Work alongside senior leadership and data platform teams to align on priorities and objectives
• Review, mentor, and contribute directly to code development to keep delivery on track
• Champion best practices across data engineering and AI architecture disciplines

Requirements

• Solid track record with 5 or more years of experience in data engineering or data architecture
• At least 1 year of experience leading a team of no fewer than 5 employees
• Involvement in a minimum of 2 full-cycle projects, or participation across several projects covering different stages of the development lifecycle
• Proven history of delivering enterprise-scale AI and data transformation initiatives
• Deep expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling and performance optimization
• Hands-on command of AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, and IAM
• Advanced skills in Python and SQL for building data platforms
• Practical experience with Kafka and Airflow in production environments
• Strong grounding in AI/ML workflows and agent-based system design
• Clear understanding of data platform consolidation strategies along with their trade-offs
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
