The consultant will lead training programs, mentor engineers toward architecture roles, and promote best practices across multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevSecOps standards. Remote, USD compensation.

The candidate must possess strong expertise in designing high-availability software solutions and advanced architectural patterns, as well as expert proficiency in enterprise ecosystems based on **C# (.NET) and Java**. It is essential that you possess excellent communication skills, business acumen, and a passion for teaching in order to convey cutting-edge methodologies, guide critical technical decisions, and transform software engineers into strategic architects.**Required Experience*** **Senior Technical Background:** More than 12 years of professional experience in the technology sector, holding key roles such as *Software Architect*, *Enterprise Architect*, or *Principal Engineer*.* **Proficiency in Core Ecosystems (C# and Java):** Proven expertise in the design, development, and optimization of critical systems using **.NET/C#** and **Java/Spring Boot** platforms , ensuring adherence to clean code, design patterns, and clean architectures.* **Architecture and Scalability:** A demonstrable track record of leading the transition and evolution from monolithic architectures to microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and multi-cloud strategies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).* **Technical Governance and Standards:** Experience defining technology guidelines, code quality policies, observability, CI/CD (DevOps), and security by design (DevSecOps).* **Executive Facilitation and Mentoring:** Previous experience leading seminars, boot camps, mentoring sessions, or corporate workshops aimed at software engineers, technical leaders, or senior developers aspiring to architecture roles.**Desirable Experience (Bonus Points)*** Master’s degree or specializations in Software Engineering, Systems Architecture, Computer Science, or related fields.* Current certifications in Cloud Architecture (e.g. , *AWS Certified Solutions Architect*, *Azure Solutions Architect Expert*) or official expert-level certifications in Java/Oracle or Microsoft/.NET.* Active experience as a technical evangelist, creator of software architecture content, keynote speaker, or mentor in global technology communities.* Active contributions to open-source projects or technical architecture publications.**Key Responsibilities*** **Curriculum Design:** Structure the Software Architecture program’s content with a managerial and practical (*hands-on architecture*) approach, balancing theoretical foundations with real-world business case studies.* **High-Level Instruction:** Lead training sessions on topics such as complex systems design, architectural patterns, integration of C#- and Java-based systems, technical debt management, and business-oriented technology decision-making.* **Technical Leadership Mentoring:** Facilitate the development of analytical skills among participants, guiding them in the transition from the role of senior developer (pure hands-on coding) toward abstraction, modeling, and technical leadership.* **Project Evaluation:** Evaluate and review architectural designs, system diagrams, and simulations submitted by students, providing corporate-level feedback.**Valued Skills*** Thorough mastery of current trends in the global software industry (serverless, edge computing, modular architectures).* Excellent teaching and public speaking skills to communicate abstract concepts, complex algorithms, and design decisions using clear, high-level language.* Systems thinking, technical pragmatism, and a strong focus on balancing code excellence with technological return on investment (ROI).* Inspiring leadership, professional credibility, and impeccable technical ethics.**Contract Terms*** **Employment Type:** Contractor (Independent Consultant).* **Hiring Type:** Per teaching hour / Module taught.* **Compensation:** Paid in U.S. Dollars (USD).* **Work Location:** 100% Remote (Latin America / Global).* **Duration:** Per program session or on a recurring basis depending on institutional demand.
