We are seeking a Social Media Analytics & Insights Manager to own performance measurement, analysis, and reporting across social media channels, with a strong focus on connecting social activity to website performance using Google Analytics (GA4).
This role is responsible for transforming data into clear insights and recommendations that inform content strategy, campaign optimization, and business decisions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working across platforms, and able to translate metrics into meaningful outcomes.
Working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Analytics
- Track and analyze performance across social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Meta, X, TikTok, YouTube).
- Monitor key metrics, including:
- Reach and impressions
- Engagement rates
- Follower growth
- Video performance
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Web Analytics (Google Analytics)
- Use Google Analytics (GA4) to analyze:
- Traffic from social channels
- User behavior on site
- Conversion paths and events
- Connect social media activity to:
- Website engagement
- Lead generation
- Conversion outcomes
- Validate and troubleshoot tracking and attribution issues.
- Reporting & Dashboards
- Build and maintain standardized dashboards and reports for leadership and teams.
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports with:
- Insights
- Key trends
- Actionable recommendations
- Ensure consistency in metrics and definitions across brands or channels.
- Insights & Recommendations
- Translate data into clear, practical insights to inform:
- Content strategy
- Campaign optimization
- Channel investment decisions
- Partner with social, content, and paid media teams to improve performance.
- Measurement Frameworks
- Define KPIs and benchmarks aligned with business goals.
- Support A/B testing and performance measurement.
- Maintain documentation for tracking, metrics, and reporting standards.
- Tools & Data Management
- Work with native platform analytics, social management tools, and GA4.
- Ensure data accuracy, cleanliness, and reliability.
- Stay current on analytics best practices and platform changes.
Required Qualifications:
- 3–6+ years experience in social media analytics or digital analytics
- Strong hands‑on experience with Google Analytics (GA4)
- Experience analyzing data from multiple social platforms
- Ability to synthesize data into insights and recommendations
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with social media management or analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout)
- Familiarity with attribution models and conversion tracking
- Experience supporting B2B and/or B2C marketing teams
- Experience working across multiple brands or business units
