CI&T is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer in Colombia to lead the design of user-centric digital products and collaborate with product, engineering, and client teams. You will guide design direction, ensure usability, and deliver compelling interfaces across platforms.

Formación

• Five+ years of industry experience; at least two years as a lead designer guiding clients, projects and people.
• A portfolio demonstrating excellence in designing and shipping digital products/services.
• Strong grasp of modern user research strategies and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities in complex challenges.
• Expertise in user experience and interaction design.
• Outstanding design talent with breadth respectful of diverse subjects.
• Self-motivation, excellent communication, and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.

Position Overview

As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will lead the design of user-centric digital products, utilizing your expertise to create engaging and intuitive interfaces. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our design solutions not only meet client expectations but also enhance user experiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Interaction: Forge strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and transforming their challenges into compelling design solutions
• Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with our product and engineering teams to create designs that marry aesthetics with functionality
• Risk Mitigation: Navigate the fundamental risks of product development—value, usability, feasibility, and viability to ensure designs are impactful and user-friendly
• Design Execution: Develop and refine design concepts based on user feedback and testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Mentorship: Guide junior designers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the design team
• Research and Analysis: Employ modern user research strategies to inform design decisions and improve user experiences
• Communication: Clearly articulate design concepts and strategies to clients and team members, ensuring alignment and understanding

Requirements

• A minimum of five years of relevant industry work, with at least two years as a lead designer—guiding clients, projects, and people
• A portfolio that demonstrates excellence in designing and shipping successful digital products and services
• Deep understanding of modern user research strategies and techniques
• Strong problem-solving ability amidst complex challenges
• Expertise in user experience and interaction design
• Exceptional design talents with stylistic breadth that demonstrates sensitivity to diverse subject matter
• Self-motivation, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams

Essential Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Expertise in user experience and interaction design principles
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (nice-to-have)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
