Job summary

General Motors Colmotores SA is seeking a seasoned Tax Manager to oversee multi-country tax compliance in the Pacific Cluster and report to regional leadership and global HQ under IFRS and US GAAP.

You will lead tax filing, audits, and interactions with authorities while standardizing processes, driving automation through SAP/Oracle, and developing a small team across Colombia and neighboring countries. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public accounting or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of multi-country tax compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Pacific Cluster tax frameworks, indirect taxes, corporate income tax, and transfer pricing.
• Experience with US stakeholders and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with SAP/Oracle ERP and advanced Excel.
• Advanced English and Spanish for regional/global communication.
• Experience standardizing processes across countries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax filing and payment across Pacific Cluster countries, including indirect taxes, corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and withholding taxes.
• Manage multi-country tax obligations and ensure local compliance.
• Lead interactions with tax authorities, audits, and information requests.
• Coordinate legal defense strategies when needed.
• Reconcile tax accounts and report IFRS/US GAAP tax impacts.
• Drive tax process standardization and automation using ERP tools.
• Mentor a small team and coordinate with external consultants.
