Confidential Careers in Bogotá seeks a Supply Planning Analyst II to support supply planning execution, inventory management and order fulfillment. The role demands analytical abilities, cross‑functional coordination, and action‑oriented problem solving for inventory availability and customer service.

You will review orders, manage material requirements, and lead discussions with Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, and Quality teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in supply planning, material planning, inventory management or related areas.
• Solid understanding of supply planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Experience using ERP systems, dashboards and planning tools.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Update and analyze planning information related to sales orders, inventory, purchase orders and supply requirements.
• Review near‑term open orders to identify material shortages and risks; drive follow‑ups.
• Analyze finished‑goods demand and inventory availability to support production planning.
• Create and manage production requisitions, planned orders and material requirements.
• Maintain and manage finished‑goods bills of materials and coordinate transfers between locations.
• Lead open‑order meetings with cross‑functional stakeholders and document action plans.
• Escalate inventory risks and issues affecting service levels.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management and planning processes.

About the opportunity

An international company is looking for a Supply Planning Analyst II to support supply planning execution, inventory management and order fulfillment activities.

This is an analytical and operational role with greater autonomy and responsibility for identifying supply risks, recommending actions, leading cross-functional discussions and ensuring timely follow-up on priorities that may affect inventory availability and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Update and analyze planning information related to sales orders, inventory, purchase orders and supply requirements.
• Review near‑term open orders to identify material shortages, customer service risks and required follow-up actions.
• Analyze finished‑goods demand and inventory availability to establish lead‑time expectations and support production planning.
• Create and manage production requisitions, planned orders and raw‑material requirements.
• Maintain and manage finished‑goods bills of materials.
• Lead open‑order meetings with cross‑functional stakeholders, ensuring clear ownership, priorities and follow‑up actions.
• Maintain accurate comments and action plans for open orders to support visibility and timely decision‑making.
• Coordinate raw‑material and finished‑goods transfers between locations.
• Analyze inventory, open‑order, purchase‑order and service data to identify trends, gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Manage inventory dashboards, validate data, review trends and prepare monthly presentations.
• Coordinate actions with Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Customer Service, Quality, R&D, Product Management and other stakeholders.
• Escalate risks related to inventory availability, delayed supply, blocked orders, data inaccuracies or potential service interruptions.
• Support activities related to slow‑moving and obsolete inventory, material reservations and inventory recertification.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management, order fulfillment and planning processes.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, International Business, Production Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Two to five years of experience in supply planning, material planning, inventory management, procurement, logistics, order management or a closely related area.
• Solid understanding of supply planning, inventory management, order fulfillment and service‑risk management.
• Experience analyzing open orders, inventory levels, purchase orders and material requirements.
• Experience working with production or raw‑material planning is highly valued.
• Experience using ERP systems, inventory dashboards, planning tools and operational reports.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Ability to analyze information, identify risks, recommend actions and make operational decisions with limited supervision.
• Upper‑intermediate to advanced English, ideally B2+ or C1. English proficiency will be an important requirement throughout the selection process.
• Ability to lead meetings, coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive accountability.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization and communication skills.
• Proactive and autonomous approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, raw materials or industrial environments is preferred, although candidates from other sectors will also be considered.

What we offer

• Monthly salary between COP $5,000,000 and $6,000,000, depending on experience.
• Hybrid work arrangement in Bogotá: three days on‑site and two days remote.
