Pond & Company seeks a Structural Engineer with data center experience to join our Bogotá, Colombia team. The ideal candidate will design and analyze structural systems for mission-critical facilities and coordinate across disciplines to deliver reliable, constructible solutions.

You will contribute from concept through construction administration, supporting budgets and schedules while staying current with codes and best practices. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience with steel, reinforced concrete, and foundations.
• Proficient in ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, RAM, or RISA software.
• Knowledge of international codes and construction documentation.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• English and Spanish proficiency preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design and analyze structural systems for data centers and mission-critical facilities.
• Develop calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Design steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and foundations for new or renovated projects.
• Coordinate structural work with architecture, civil, mechanical, electrical, and telecom disciplines.
• Support equipment foundations, rooftop equipment, generator yards, and critical infrastructure.
• Perform field assessments, investigations, and condition evaluations.
• Participate in design reviews and quality control to Pond standards.
• Assist with RFIs, submittal reviews, and site observations.
• Support project managers with schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders throughout execution.
• Stay current with industry trends, codes, and seismic/vibration considerations.
