Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC in Barranquilla, Colombia, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer/SRE to design, build, and maintain cloud environments using Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitOps workflows. Qualifications

• At least 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and operating infrastructure on a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proven expertise building and managing infrastructure using Terraform.
• Demonstrated experience using GitOps practices (e.g., ArgoCD or Flux) for automated deployments.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and managing production Kubernetes clusters.
• Proficiency in Python programming for infrastructure automation and tooling.
• Direct experience configuring and operating Grafana, Thanos, Tempo for monitoring, storage, and tracing.
• Background in designing and testing High Availability (HA) architectures and Disaster Recovery (DR) failover plans.

Responsibilities

• Provision, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Deploy and maintain production Kubernetes clusters using declarative GitOps workflows.
• Write production Python code to create custom tooling and automation scripts.
• Maintain system observability using Grafana, Tempo, Loki, and Thanos for logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Design and test HA and DR strategies to meet uptime and recovery requirements.
