AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design scalable data processing systems using Spark and EMR. You will build batch and distributed pipelines and work with AI and product teams to operationalize model-enabled use cases, ensuring data quality and security across environments.

The role emphasizes architecture sense, performance optimization, and collaboration in data-intensive environments, with 100% remote work and flexible hours. Strong English communication is required.

Formación

• 4+ years of software/data engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Spark and distributed data processing.
• Experience with Amazon EMR or similar cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Java or Python or related languages.
• Exposure to AI/ML workflows and data preparation for intelligent systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop scalable data processing solutions with Spark/EMR.
• Build and maintain batch and distributed data pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering, AI, and product teams on data-driven use cases.
• Develop components for data transformation and AI workflow integration.
